About 5G Innovation Labs
5G Innovation Labs Sdn. Bhd. is a specialised wireless engineering and operations firm in Johor Bahru, Malaysia — with a presence in Singapore. We exist to provide one thing: the senior technical operations leadership that Western OEMs cannot easily source locally when they need to validate, certify and manufacture wireless products in Southeast Asia.
The gap we fill
Western companies designing 5G, LTE and IoT hardware face a consistent challenge when their products reach ASEAN: the engineering depth available in Silicon Valley or London is rarely replicated on the floor of a Malaysian or Singaporean contract manufacturer. Prototype builds fail at EVT. Certification submissions miss the first attempt. NPI ramps drag. Mass production yields plateau.
We bridge that gap — providing VP-level technical operations leadership on the ground, with the same rigour and accountability you would expect from your best internal director.

JB's proximity to Singapore gives us access to one of Asia's strongest engineering talent pools and financial ecosystems, at Malaysia's operating cost base. Singapore operations provide the enterprise credibility and regional hub access that large Western OEMs require.
